Connect ChatGPT or Claude to Apply Log

Apply Log runs a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so you can add and look up applications directly from a conversation with ChatGPT or Claude — no need to open the app.

Option A — sign in (recommended)

Works with ChatGPT, claude.ai, and Claude Desktop. Nothing to copy but the URL — the app walks you through signing in and approving the connection.

  1. 1

    Copy the MCP URL

    https://applylog.sandeepbehl.com/api/mcp
  2. 2

    Add it as a connector

    In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Add. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL and choose OAuth if you're asked — the client registers itself automatically, so you don't need a client ID or secret.
  3. 3

    Approve the connection

    You'll be sent to Apply Log to sign in, then shown exactly what the app is asking for. Click Allow and you'll be returned to the client, connected.

Option B — personal access token

For clients you configure by hand, such as Claude Code, where it's easier to set a fixed header than to run a sign-in flow.

  1. 1

    Generate a token

    Open Settings → Integrations and click "Generate token". It's shown once — copy it before closing the dialog.
  2. 2

    Add it to your MCP config

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "applylog": {
          "url": "https://applylog.sandeepbehl.com/api/mcp",
          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" }
        }
      }
    }

Try it

Ask your assistant to list your job boards, or to add an application for a specific role and company.

Revoking access

Every connected app and token is listed in Settings → Integrations. Revoking one cuts off access immediately, whichever option you used.
